Four for Hance

Three more offers are in for Jacksonville (Ill.) 2014 tight end Blake Hance. He talks about them inside.

2014 tight end Blake Hance of Jacksonville (Ill.) has four offers under his belt.

"So far North Carolina State, Missouri, Wyoming and Illinois have offered," Hance said.

After N.C. State offered Hance, the next three offers came within the next week.

"Mizzou offered me about a week ago," Hance said. "They called my coach and told him to let me know I had an offer."

The next up was Wyoming.

"The offensive line coach from Wyoming had contacted me a little in the last week or so and he told me to give him a call Monday night," Hance said. "I did and they offered me."

And the third offer was from Illinois.

"Then my coach told me to call Coach Tim Beckman from Illinois," Hance said. "So I called him and they told me they were offering me."

All three of Hance's newest offers, were pretty exciting.

"Mizzou was pretty unexpected because I just hadn't had much contact with them, but it was definitely extremely exciting," Hance said. "Wyoming was a place that I didn't know much about but what I have learned about them seems really good."

And as for Illinois?

"Illinois was really exciting because it's the team I grew up liking since it's the in-state school where I grew up," Hance said. "So that was definitely exciting."

Hance visited Indiana Saturday and has several other visits coming up.

"Purdue I am planning to visit next Sunday," Hance said. "Missouri on March 2nd and hopefully Northwestern March 9th and at some point N.C. State."

There are several things that Hance is looking forward too about his visits.

"Something that is really exciting to me is being able to go out and see the stadiums and be on the field," Hance said. "It's really great to picture myself playing on the field with thousands of people watching." Recommended Stories
