Peoria (Ariz.) Sunrise Mountain WR Elroy Masters gets new offer

FoxSportsNext has confirmed that Peoria (Az.) Sunrise Mountain wide receiver Elroy Masters has received a new scholarship offer, bringing him to six total.

Already holding offers from Montana, San Jose State, NAU, Air Force and Wyoming, Masters says, "Nevada offered me yesterday. Coach Rolovich came my school last week and talked to my coach on Friday. I guess it was a good talk because they offered. I love the offense Nevada runs. When I talked to Coach Rolovich on the phone yesterday he said that he has always loved the way I have played and the fire I play with. The coaches there all think I could be a big time player there."

And Masters has some ties to Nevada, "I have moved around but before I moved to Arizona, I used to live there."

The 6-2 200 pounder has caught 44 passes for 1,118 yards and 14 TDs.

Sunrise plays Nogales in the second round of the D3 state playoffs on Friday.
